This power line maintenance track provides the roughest and steepest
section of the Black Mountain loop.
The Telstra tower can be seen from different angles as the trail winds
around the Black Mountain.
Before joining the lakeside cycleway, the trail goes through open
bushland surrounded by gum trees.
