Wheels: Ambrosio rims, Vittoria Zephyr 700C/22 tyres pumped hard over 6 bars
Gears: 50/40/30 Exage combo in the front combined wit 12-26 rear cassette cassette. After the replacement of damaged wheel in Davos, cassette changed to 11-23.
Packing: Trek bag on rear trunk - very good solution, I was able to stuff in it 1 pair ofspare shorts, 1 pair of warm trousers, sandals, two long sleeve jerseys, Goretex jacket, lightweight cotton trousers for the evening, two T-shirts, cosmetics, medicines and tools.
Beside the trunk bag I had a small handlebar bag in which I had maps, notepad, calculator, socks, underwear and contact lenses equipment.
As I decided not to carry my usual Nikon SLR camer, which is rather heavy, I had also a belt bag in which I carried a foolprof Yashica camera, documents and cash. Total weight of the bike with all gear was 20 kgs
