We are shortly going to start an expedition from South Africa to the UK via the African West Coast. We have a challenge: my partner (soon to be wife) has never ridden a bicycle before. But she is confident she'll make it. |

World Biking: The web's most comprehensive Africa Cycling Expedition. Eric and Amaya pedalled 55,000 kilometers and traversed 55 countries (37 in Africa) when they cycled from France to Cape Town via West Africa and then back to France via East Africa and the Middle East between 2006 and 2009. The next stage of their expedition beginning in June 2009 will take them across the USA and then through South America all the way to its southernmost tip, Ushuaia. Two week bicycle tour of Cameroon

In November 2007 we joined David Mozer (founder of Bicycle Africa) and Il Kim (professional student) on a two week bicycle tour through Southwest/Western Cameroon. We encountered steep climbs, exhilarating descents, some brutal roads, and many people calling out, ``du courage!'' throughout the course of the day. We hope you enjoy our journey - we sure did! |
